Wrong button: it’s one of the most hated things in all of gaming. And it always happens at the most in opportune times, right? Like when  you’re strolling down the virtual world you’re inhabiting and you come upon an enemy. Instead of pressing right trigger, you press left bumper and boom you’re dead. Then you throw your remote at the TV and yell at your cats and fume about how much you hate this game… or you finally figure out what to call your blog.

That’s exactly how Wrong Button was born, just two geeks sitting in their living room gaming and trying to decide what to call this experiment in blogging our loves and lives. This blog was designed to not only work as an outlet for us to share all of our most nerdiest thoughts and obsessions, but also as the beginning of a hopefully bigger endeavor.

Emily Kelley is a writer, actress, video game junkie, comic book nerd, and future galactic war hero. Since she was 5 years old, all she’s wanted to do was make movies and beat that damn lava level on Sonic the Hedgehog. Along with being a multiple award winning journalist, Emily’s accomplishments include: 12 years of online RPG experience, starting her own Hogwarts, crying at the end of Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek: TNG, and being the mother to two beautiful cats. Her favorite comic book character is The Huntress and she’ll forever have a love affair with Harry Potter. Aside from the barrage of nerdy things she enjoys, Emily is a self-appointed Fantasy Football queen and will cut anyone who trash talks the Green Bay Packers. Her favorite quote is: “If you’re lucky enough to be Irish, you’re lucky enough.”
